I feel you pain brother… I’m currently harbouring two plates, eight screws and a pin in my right arm/elbow, following a road bike crash. Four weeks post-op and I’m getting a tad sh#*ty with the world, not being able to ride my bike. We’re just heading into winter here in Australia and my 2010 SVCX is just begging me to ride it. The wind trainer just aint cutting the mustard!!

AMEN. Top tubes are waaaaaay too long. I was sad the day Pro Lite went out of the US because they had small top tubes with regular wheel sizes. This is the best article summarizing this problem. I wish manufactures would have focus groups for small bikes with small people instead of making everything all wonky.

We settled on 523mm with a 72.5 degree seat tube angle. That reach would be similar to about a 500mm top tube (or a hair under) on a frame with the usual little-bike 75 degree seat tube angle.
